Arco K @ Flos
The iconic floor lamp ARCO was designed in 1962 by the Italian brothers Achille & Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for the Italian brand Flos. Flos celebrates its 60th birthday this week during Salone di Mobile in Milan at Fabbrica Orobia under the label 'See the Stars again'.
"To celebrate this important birthday, we thought it would be nice to tell the next 60 years of the company, starting from what Flos is today" explained Roberta Silva, CEO of Flos.
One to the stars is the Arco K 2022 Limited Edition. An extremely limited-edition and numbered release and exclusively available online.
The Arco K 2022 Limited Edition shines a light on the lamp's structure, drawing the gaze along the all-important arc to the innovative crystal base.
Arco is a true design classic from the Flos range. This design floor lamp not only looks beautiful but is also functional. The telescopic stem is adjustable in length, and the holes at the top of the lampshade create a playful light effect on the ceiling. The regular ARCO has a white marble block that ensures the ARCO remains stable in every position.
This arc lamp does not take up much space because it increases height. The light is directed downwards, making the ARCO ideal as a reading lamp. But due to the elegant design, this design floor lamp is also well suited for a conference room, lobby or hall.
