One of the first major design lighting company to recognise the talent of Slovenian designer Nika Zupanc was Moooi. Her 'LOLITA' lamp series still is succesfull. For Vertigo Bird she designed 'BOYS LAMP'. Zupanc's designs are always femine and elegant. She's always looking for new ways to break out of the ordinary. Now Zupanc presents BUBBLE, a design for Italian lighting company Vistosi. Vistosi is known for works in Murano glass often with a bit of humour but always with traditional craftsmanship. BUBBLE lamps are part of the collection Summertime which also includes he furnishings such as chairs, a a table and a blackboard/mirror. Bubble lamps are created in hand-blown Murano glass in an old rose that gives them a fluffy, almost ethereal, look. BUBBLE has a black metal stem and a tapered socket, giving the feeling that the glass is coming out of the stem like a soap bubble. BUBBLE is currently not in production and prices are to be determined.
