All the Bomma lighting products are hand-made from mouth-blown lead-free crystal. Therefore any small bubbles, non-melts and unique. The bulbs it has a characteristic feature of this traditional craft. The intensity and colour shade of each bubble is diverse. Due to the metal-coating, the drop has a sparkle and is slightly vary product to product. Small dots in the coating are visible after the light is on. These dots are not a defect of the product. It makes it look magical instead!
The Dew Drops collection will surprise you with its widely variable installation possibilities. Therefore it results in unique compositions in space: always a distinct and artistic installation, the centerpiece gleaming from every interior angle. Designer Boris Klimek explains Boris Klimek, the collection designer, explains: “The Dew Drops Collection was created to capture the fleeting beauty of morning dew, clinging to blades of grass. We managed to transpose that magic. And, materialized the seemingly immaterial with lightness and grace. The carrying strap is as essential a part of the lighting as the glass drops. The drops connect harmoniously and equally.” Bomma was founded in 2012. With centuries of glassmaking tradition in East Bohemia, Bomma uses a wide pool of talents with top-level skills. Instead of simply maintaining these traditions, Bomma sets today's standards of glassmaking.
