Flos presents a new take on the traditional bankers lamp. Israeli designer Ron Gilad gave shape to this well-known classic, he named his creations GOLDMAN. It is sleek and modern but does not leave its classical origins. Nevertheless, the pull chain is replaced by a switch that is incorporated in the base and the light source is a comfortable warm colored LED-strip. This neo-classic desk lamp with distinctive brass base and green glass shade was originally used by bankers almost a century ago. Designs by Ron Gilad always play with both abstract and functional elements. Gilad likes using iconic elements in his designs. This he turns to new, more advanced creations. To put it in his own words: "Goldman is an illustration of discipline and imagination." With its sleek modern with ancient roots, GOLDMAN is suitable for both modern and classic interiors. The Flos GOLDMAN is be available in two different versions: the characteristic gilded brass base with green glass diffuser, and black nickel base with dark gray shade.
