Sibilla @ Karman

Sibilla pendant lighting by Karman is called the ''voice of the light.'' This fixture is available with horizontal and vertical arms. The fixture is available in Sibilla black and in Sibilla white.  It feels like it is capped with domes that diffuse the light. Bursts of light are channelled in all directions.

It is influenced by sound waves from a suspended frame. It is kind of that it animates the surrounding space. Together with an expressive graphic boldness inspired by ''De Stijl.'' Evoking the myth of the sibyls. The sibyls were famously interrogated to elicit prophecies. The Sibilla is designed as if it is sound travelling through space. It is making radiant voice heard as it exudes a sense of both poeticism and practicality. The belief of KARMAN is that ''we communicate because we exist." This collection is influenced by what is happening around us. Karman believes that it is Karman it's an ethical and moral duty, first and foremost, especially when silence appears to endorse "institutional failures.'' And to exacerbate the discomfort of a modernity split in terms of equality and inclusion. Karman offers the opportunity to fiercely underline, once again, their total aversion to any form of abuse and to those who want to build walls and divide, and to split humanity into black and white. Into races. Into clans and tribes. Karman 2021 benefits from two exceptional testimonials: Jeffry and Sandra. The first two models. But first and foremost: two people with whom they share hope to achieve this critical goal. They are doing things in their own way. Jeffry and Sandra convinced that nowhere is more or less "appropriate" when it comes to standing up for human rights. This collection is designed by Luca De Bona & Dario De Meo.
