TANGO @ Luceplan

TANGO by Luceplan was launched at Light+building 2014 in Frankfurt. TANGO is a design by Fransisco Gomez Pas, he is also responsible for Luceplan's hugely successful Hope series. The shape of  TANGO is based on the characteristics of the tango dance, harmonious and sensual.  TANGO is an indoor floorlamp provided with lineair 230v warm white LEDs. It is dimmable by a sensor dimmer. The beam goes upward and it is possible to gently change the direction of the beam. The jointed structure of the lamp composed of three mobile aluminum shafts with elastomer joints placed on a base made of steel nimbly lends itself to a fluid mechanical torsion movement generated at the height of the middle part of the shafts. A movement that is propagated up to the top of the lamp, or at the position of the reflector, which is also triangular, setting its angle and making it possible to direct the light where it is needed with respect to the standard initial position, in which the beam is aimed upward, and the position of arrival, in which it is directed towards the wall. TANGO comes in the color black only.
