Ernesto Gismondi, founder and President of the Company whose brand epitomizes design and quality of light, has asked Elliott Erwitt, a renowned photographer and friend, to develop this vision. For some time Erwitt has expressed the most significant steps of the brand's cultural development ever since the launch of its "The Human Light" philosophy. Together, Gismondi and Erwitt have decided to represent the lights of Artemide beyond their functional purpose - illuminating - to describe them as the materialization of the future-oriented look of the renowned designers who have created them in co-operation with the company, i.e. the "Artemide team".
