Modular launched a small number of new luminaires, among which are SEMIH and KANON. Much emphasis was put on their new warm dimming technology, the result of close cooperation with Philips.
Just like in the yin-yang symbol, an S-shaped line divides SEMIH into two equal, yet opposite, sections: the hard, solid part mounted to the ceiling and the soft, round lamp housing, which can be easily pointed in the direction of specific objects or places. Adding a sense of softness and style to any interior, Semih is exceptionally easy to install, thanks to strong mounting magnets. KANON is a cylindrical track mounted LED luminaire, consisting of two main components: LED housing (with frontring) with built-in trailing edge dimmable LED driver and L-shaped pivoting bracket that holds the 3 phase adapter. On the back of the LED housing, a grid is mounted for optimal heat dissipation of both LED and LED driver. The frontring contains the aluminium reflector, which can easily been taken out for adding a spreadlens or transparent protection glass. The LED housing can be rotated 90° around the bracket and 365° around the adapter. KANON has no visible screws or wiring. Available in 2 versions: diameter 110mm and 138mm.
