Back in 2002, XAL launched VELA, it immediately was a huge succes. The latest generation of VELA stands out thanks to new technology and a design facelift. It can now be just 4.5 cm high and up to 1200 cm wide. SONO makes it possible to create a uniform design including combinations of recessed, flush-mounted, and suspended lights, even in large-scale projects. Model diametres in this system range from 260 to 600 mm. With its remarkable light yield of up to 140 lm/W, SONO sustainably lowers energy costs. The PROFILES 60 line includes a variety of options – recessed, flush-mounted, suspended, or mounted directly on the wall and linear, curved, flush, or recessed – enabling custom design options. You can also select different insets and covers. LENO was developed for flush integration into plasterboard ceilings. The reduced 10 mm height makes it possible to install the frame directly onto the substructure without having to make any cuts. The luminaire is mounted to the ceiling using a magnet. The MOVE IT 25 SYSTEM has revolutionised track systems: All insets can be replaced quickly thanks to tool-free magnet attachment and wireless pin power supply. Ideal for trimless installation in plasterboard ceilings. SHUTTER, IRIS, and GOBO give you enhanced design options. BO SHUTTER and BO IRIS offer a selection of geometric “shutters”, which can be flexibly adjusted. These models can be used in projects like galleries and shops to illuminate different objects to the best effect. BO GOBO lets you project a personalised logo. Nod was designed by the young Japanese designer Daisuke Kitagawa and fits in with the minimalist philosophy of Japanese design culture but in a contemporary way. The result is a sleek but decorative fixture in a traditional cone shape and an elegant black soft-touch surface. This suspended fixture can create a variety of lighting moods thanks to its adjustable head (rotates 360°, tilts 180°) and adjustable height. It can be used to illuminate a wall, counter, or ceiling depending on your project’s requirements.
