Davide Groppi

The designs by Davide Groppi are stripped of all unnecessary, there is simple no way to leave more out. It is fascinating to see how advanced lighting systems have an extremely simple appearance. With Nulla, Davide Groppi has made an impressive piece of lighting design. The premise is light as a purely physical phenomenon. This projects was created in the manner of a child. A very simple idea, a hole in the ceiling from just 8 mm and  a special optical system with the latest LED technology makes wonderful light on a huge surface.

Masai, designed by Maurizio Mancin in 2015, is one of the latest fixture by Davide Groppi. This minimalist design is a tribute to Alberto Giacometti († 1966).
