Martinelli Luce

Martinelli Luce
Martinelli Luce represents more than fifty years of history, dedicated to the production of lamps and lighting systems. The products of Martinelli Luce are both characterized by essential design and through innovation. These elements have always formed the basis for the philosophy of the company. Elio Martinelli has founded Martinelli Luce in 1950. He wanted to produce his own lighting and offer the products commercial. The company started as a small shop in the historic center of Lucca, but Martinelli Luce has become a major lighting company used around the world by architects and lighting consultants. Elio Martinelli is inspired by nature and by geometry and creates functional lighting that is made with materials that perfectly suits their characteristics. In this way fixtures such as Foglia and Cobra arose, which are still sold a lot. Other well-known designers such as Marc Sadler have contributed to the collection of Martinelli Luce. A well-known design by Marc Sadler is Mico, a table lamp, which looks a bit like a mushroom.
