Muuto

Muuto is a young Scandinavian company with the ambition to relive the golden age of Scandinavia. This ambition lies in the name Muuto, inspired on the Finnish word muutos, which means new perspective. Peter Bonnen: A good design starts with the person. We selectively choose the best design talents in Scandinavia and give them the freedom to express their individual stories through everyday objects. Muuto’s two founders are working hard to present their collection worldwide in the most famous designer shops. The objects for everyday use are deeply rooted in the tradition of Scandinavian design. All designers are from Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. A well known fixture is E27 Socket Lamp. This fixture is a perfect example of minimalism, almost nothing more than a light source and colored socket. It’s a typical Scandinavian fixture which is perfect in many areas.
