An enthusiasm for technology, a fascination for power and a profound interest in lighting; that's what Carl Steng drove to set up his own lighting company in 1911, at a time when houses and streets were still lit by gas. Today, Steng Licht has become a leading German lighting company, with products sold all over the world. The bulk of the collection of Steng Licht are own creations. However, this won't stop the company to cooperate with designers from all over the world. Leading designs are the Brigg wall lights and chandeliers Lumo.
