Arad, Ron

Ron Arad was born in 1951 in Tel Aviv and studied at the Jerusalam Academy of Art. in 1973 he moved to London and studied there at the Architectural Association, School of Architecture. In 1989, together with Caroline Thorman, he founded Ron Arad Associates, an architecture and design practice in Chalk Farm. Later on, the studio was movede to Como in Italy, to continue the production of studio pieces. Ron Arad has designed beautiful lighting products for Ingo Maurer, as well as for iGuzzini. His PizzaKobra table lamp for iGuzzini is a flexible LED design, which immediately gets your attention.
