Cimini, Tommaso

Tommaso Cimini, who founded Lumina Italia in 1975, is one of the earliest succesfull designers. With his design Daphine for Lumina, he has proved to be an excellent designer that creates timeless designs. The Daphine collection is still growing today. A LED version was recently added, which keeps the collection up to date, but doesn't change the concept Cimini gave birth to. Crimini died in an aircraft accident in 1997, leaving the company in the capable hands of his business partner and son, Ettore.
