Hadid, Zaha

Zaha Hadid, founder of Zaha Hadid Architects, was an architect who consistently pushes the boundaries of architecture and urban design. Her work experimented with new spatial concepts intensifying existing urban landscapes in the pursuit of a visionary aesthetic that encompasses all fields of design, ranging from urban scale through to products, interiors and furniture. Zaha Hadid has collaborated with Artemide and Slamp to give shape to her talents. The beautiful modern table light Genesy and the impressive Aria chandelier were designed by Hadid. The world-renowned architect died aged 65, following a sudden heart attack in March 2016.
