Krol, Leo

In 1994 industrial designer Leo Krol founded Solid Lighting, which produces lighting solutions for the modern interiors of shops, showrooms, museums, offices and private homes. By focusing on high quality products only, Solid Lighting became one of the most advanced lighting companies in the Netherlands.

Krol started working with LED luminaires in 2006. Since then he specializes in LED, working only with state of the art components. The Ventura pendant light designed together with Vincent de Rijk is only one example. It introduced a new way of thinking, where LED design combines functional and decorative characteristics.

Krol's products offer a brilliant mix of minimalism and functionality and have a distinctive design. His designs are timeless.
