Joris Laarman was born in the countryside of the Netherlands in 1979. In 1998 after one year of fine arts he attended the renowned Design Academy Eindhoven and graduated cum laude in 2003. He gained first notoriety with his rococo radiator heatwave that is currently produced by Droog and Jaga.
