Zanuso, Marco jr

Milano, Italy, 1954 Marco Zanuso was born in Milan. He lives and works in Milan. Marco graduated in Architecture in Florence with an experimental thesis on radical architecture. With the leading main character such as Mendini ed Ettore SottsassSuperstudio, Michele De Lucchi, Andrea Branzi, and Ufo. He spent a long period in different countries as France, Spain, and the United States. During his stay in the States, he discovered and got involved in architecture. Like the Arcosanti, Land Art, Berkeley, and the first experiments on solar energy. After Florence Marco worked with his uncle Marco Zanuso Senior on different kind of architecture. As different theathers as Piccolo Teatro, Teatro Fossati, gli uffici IBM di Roma and Hotel Continental a Milano. He worked also in defferent design projects as Lavazza, Brionvega, Poltrona Frau and Zanotta. At the same time Marco has worked at the the Politecnico di Milano together with Enzo Mari and Achille Castiglioni. In 1991 Marco opened the studio in Milan together with Daniel Nava. They combined it with different disciplines from architectural & residential buildings to private homes and from product design to outfitting exhibitions and office interiors. Marco his portfolio contains clients as Carrefour, Abet Laminati and Mondadori e Triennale di Milano. As a designer Marco he worked with various companies including Memphis, Pamar, Fontana Arte, Bonacina, Driade, Cappellini, and De Padova. Marco worked with galleries like Design Gallery in Milan and also the Galerie Italienne in Paris. Marco developed projects and experiments with small producers and craftsmen.
